SMS & Text Message Terms
These SMS Terms explain the text messages Helping Robots Inc. ("Helping Robots," "we," "us") sends through MomRadar. They apply whenever you provide a mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from us. They should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.
The short version
- We send safety alerts and account/service texts only — no marketing texts today.
- You opt in with an unchecked checkbox and your phone number; consent is never required to use MomRadar.
- Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP any time to cancel, HELP for help.
- We never sell or share your phone number for marketing.
1) What texts we send
If you turn on SMS alerts in MomRadar, we send informational messages only to the mobile number you provide, including:
- possible-safety-event alerts from your MomRadar device;
- account or service notices (for example, confirming a setting changed); and
- test messages you request, so you can confirm alerts are working.
We do not currently send marketing or promotional text messages of any kind. If that ever changes, marketing texts will require their own separate opt-in — agreeing to safety alerts will never sign you up for marketing messages, and you will never need to accept marketing texts to use MomRadar.
2) How you consent
You opt in inside the MomRadar app, on the Text/SMS alerts screen, by entering your mobile number and checking an unchecked consent box. We do not collect SMS opt-ins on this website. Consent to receive these text messages is never a condition of using MomRadar or any of our products or services. By opting in, you consent to receive automated, recurring text messages from MomRadar at the number you provided, using the message types described above.
3) Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your device activity and settings — for example, you will receive more messages during an active alert than on a quiet day. Message and data rates may apply.
4) How to opt out
Reply STOP at any time to a message from us to cancel. After you do, we will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further texts from this program unless you opt in again. Opting out disables SMS alerts and may materially limit MomRadar's ability to notify you. You can also ask us to opt you out through our contact form at momradar.ai/contact.

6) Carriers and delivery
This program is compatible with all major US mobile carriers. Carriers, including T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed — messages may be delayed, blocked, duplicated, or not delivered because of carrier, network, device, or other technical issues. Do not rely on SMS as the only way to learn about a possible danger to a child in your care; MomRadar is an assistive tool, not a substitute for supervision. 7) Your information
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We use Twilio as our text-messaging service provider solely to deliver these messages on our behalf. Your phone number and message content are used only to operate, support, and improve the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
