Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-09-17 • Contact: Contact us

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Helping Robots Inc. ("Helping Robots," "MomRadar," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the MomRadar website, beta program, and app (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

The short version

  • MomRadar is currently a beta product — it can have bugs, missed alerts, or false alerts, and is not a substitute for active supervision.
  • You need to be 18 or older and the person responsible for the household/account to use MomRadar.
  • We provide MomRadar "as is," without guaranteeing it will catch every hazard or never send a false alert.
  • Our liability is limited as described below, except where the law doesn't allow that.
  • These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy and, if you use text alerts, our SMS Terms.

1) Who can use MomRadar

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to use MomRadar in your household or caregiving setting to use the Services. MomRadar is designed for use by parents and caregivers monitoring their own environment — it is not directed at, and should not be operated by, children.

2) What MomRadar is — and isn't

MomRadar uses AI computer vision to help caregivers monitor the environment for potential safety concerns. It analyzes the camera feed in real time and sends timely alerts when it detects situations that may require immediate attention. MomRadar is an assistive tool, not a substitute for supervision. It is designed to reduce the cognitive burden of protective supervision, not to replace human judgment, attention, or care.

MomRadar may miss a hazard, send a delayed alert, or send a false alert. AI detection is not perfect, network and device conditions can affect performance, and no monitoring technology can guarantee a child's safety. You are solely responsible for the safety and supervision of children and others in your care — please do not rely on MomRadar as your only safeguard against harm.

3) The beta program

MomRadar is currently offered as a beta, pre-release product. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice; the Services may be unavailable at times; and we may ask for your feedback to help us improve MomRadar. We are not obligated to continue offering any particular feature, and beta access may be modified, limited, or ended at any time.

4) Your account and information

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping any account credentials secure. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information, including camera imagery, and our SMS Terms if you opt in to text alerts.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6) Intellectual property

MomRadar, the MomRadar name and logo, and the Services are owned by Helping Robots Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for their intended personal purpose. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you agree we can use them without any obligation or compensation to you.

7) Third-party services

MomRadar relies on third-party services to operate — including AI/vision providers to analyze camera footage, Twilio to deliver text messages, and Cloudflare for hosting and infrastructure. These providers have their own terms and may affect the availability or performance of the Services. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how these providers are used.

8) Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MOMRADAR WILL DETECT EVERY HAZARD, WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY ALERT WILL BE TIMELY OR ACCURATE.

9) Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HELPING ROBOTS INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OUR LIABILITY WHERE THE LAW DOESN'T ALLOW IT — FOR EXAMPLE, FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE, IN JURISDICTIONS WHERE SUCH LIMITATIONS AREN'T PERMITTED.

10) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Helping Robots Inc. harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or misconduct.

11) Termination

You may stop using MomRadar at any time. We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the beta program or a particular feature.

12) Resolving disagreements

If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first through our contact form — we'll try to resolve it directly and informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute not resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Effective date" above when we do, and for significant changes, we'll let you know directly where reasonably possible.
